During National Library Week (April 7th-13th), the Friends of the Hurt/Battelle Memorial Library showed their appreciation for the staff with snacks, homemade treats, and office supplies. The best gifts were the notes from people telling staff how much the Library means to them.
The staff thanks the Friends of the Library for the gifts and their continued support, which helps to make our Library a vital part of the community. As the Director, I am impressed with this organization's dedication to literacy and making West Jefferson a great place to work and live. I personally want to thank the Friends of the Library for being part of our library team.
